Heat Pumps and Boilers

Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are common alternatives to the traditional air conditioner and furnace setup. They provide cooling with the same process as an air conditioner, but they can reverse their operation to produce heat as well. While a furnace produces it’s own heat from a heat source, a heat pump simply gathers heat from the outside air and transfers it into the designated home or business. There are numerous types of heat pumps available:

  • Standard air source heat pumps
  • Ductless mini-split heat pumps
  • Geothermal heat pump systems
  • Absorption heat pumps

Boilers

Boilers, also referred to as hydronic heating systems, are different from both heat pumps and furnaces. Boilers use hot water to provide heat. Whereas furnaces and heat pumps provide warm air through the use of a forced air system, boilers produce heat through a radiant/convection heating system.

At Cagle Service, we repair, service and install boilers (hydronic heating systems). If you would like more information, or if you would like to schedule a service, give us a call at 731-300-1030. Or, if you prefer, simply fill out the form below and we will get back to you shortly!
